Get an experienced carer
Finding a child carer is not as hard as finding an experienced one. You want someone who knows what they are doing when they are taking care of your child. Therefore, make sure you consider someone who has at least one year experience caring for children in the same age group as your child, with similar needs. Cultural and social values
Look into the carer's culture to ensure that they share the same beliefs and attitudes as you concerning several aspects of parenting. What is the carer's idea of discipline, playtime, sleeping, watching television and so on? You want to hire a carer whose attitudes resonate with your views. A carer who has completely different beliefs concerning the various aspects of parenting may not be a good candidate.
